New affordable SxS rig brings Pro-level 3D gear to a new audience
Redrock Micro, the recognized leader in affordable professional-quality cinema accessories, today announced the new Redrock Micro micro3D rig for professional stereoscopic 3D production. The micro3D delivers professional features and build quality at a price that makes 3D accessible to virtually anyone wanting to shoot 3D. IMAX Corporation and Universal Pictures announced today that Fast Five will be released in the immersive IMAX(R) format on Friday, April 29th. In this fifth installment, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead a reunion of returning all-stars from every chapter of the explosive franchise built on speed. The film will open on 245 IMAX screens in USA, simultaneous with its North American wide release. The film is also getting released simultaneously at Big Cinemas, Mumbai and at Prasad IMAX, Hyderabad.
Prime Focus has announced that Ramki Sankaranarayanan, President and CEO of Prime Focus Technologies (a part of the Prime Focus Group), has been appointed CEO of Prime Focus India. The appointment, which is effective immediately, will see Ramki become responsible for all of the operations and business lines of Prime Focus in India, in addition to maintaining his leadership of Prime Focus Technologies.
