CDI Education to set up Gaming & VFX Engineering Colleges for next 3 years

The first such engineering collage will be operational from the academic session 2011-12.

Compact Disc India Ltd has announced  that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 30, 2010, inter alia, has approved & adopted the following:

CDI Education Ltd promoted by Compact Disc India Ltd. is setting-up 5 nos. Animation, Gaming & VFX Engineering Colleges (at par with IITs) with in the next 3 years. The first such engineering collage will be operational from the academic session 2011-12.

The Company will provide course material, faculty, laboratory facilities, training and placement services etc. to CDI Education Ltd. In lieu of these services, CDI Education Ltd. will issue equity shares at par of the value of Rs. 100mn to the Company.

The Board accepted resignation of Mrs. Rashmee Seengal, director of the Company with immediate effect. The board has appointed Mr. Gautam Seegnal as additional director on the board of Company.
