Kre8tif! 2010 Awards: Recognizing the best of Malaysia’s creative industry

Following the success of the inaugural MSC Malaysia Kre8tif! Digital Content Conference and Awards in 2009, the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) in collaboration with official partners X|Media|Lab (XML) today announced the opening of submissions for this year’s Kre8tif! Awards. The Kre8tif! Awards will recognize and shine the spotlight on the most outstanding creative work done by Malaysian individuals, companies and students in 2010. Already, last year’s inaugural Kre8tif! Awards saw the cream of the Malaysian creative industry compete for recognition from their peers across 4 main categories for 22 accolades. As one of the platforms that celebrates the very best of local creative arts, the 2010 Kre8tif! Awards will see industry professionals and students compete for the following awards: -

Animation/Visual Effects (VFX)

2. Best Animation Director
3. Best VFX Director
4. Best Editor
5. Best Music/Score
6. Best VFX
7. Most Promising Start-Up Animation Studio
8. Best Commissioned Work
9. Special Mention Award – Short Animation Production
10. Special Mention Award – Short VFX Production
