EDC - Young Digital Artist AwardEDC, pioneers of Digital Creative Technology Solutions and thought leaders in the space, organized India's First "Young Digital Artist Award" as part of its nationwide "Ideas Ahead" initiative. This competition, in association with HP, was the showcase event of VIVA 2011, the annual festival of VIBGYOR High, one of the leading chains of educational institutions in India. Over 300 children from 60 leading schools made paintings using MS Paint, with seniors using the themes of "My City" and "Go Green, Give Life" and juniors drawing on subjects of "My School" and "My Favourite Animal".

JunglebookDQE, the global entertainment production and distribution company, today announces the signing of a co-production agreement with ZDF Enterprises, Germany, for a second season of the 3D HD animated series Jungle Book, 52 episodes of 11 minutes each.

ZDF Enterprises, together with German Pubcaster ZDF, has taken the lead as chief co-production partner of the second season, budgeted at over 9 million euros. It will distribute the new adventures of Mowgli and his friends in more than 60 countries throughout Europe and Latin America.

Vicon, developer of Academy Award® - winning motion capture systems, announced as of today, all new T-Series cameras are fully optimized for outdoor motion capture (mocap). The new capabilities allow highly accurate motion capture to be achieved outdoors without interference from natural elements and lighting. Customers with an existing T-Series system can also have their cameras upgraded for outdoor capture.
