Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), India’s leading educator in high-end 3D Animation and Visual Effects, announced the launch of its centre at Janakpuri, New Delhi. This is the tenth center of MAAC in the Delhi/NCR. The centre is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure to train students on the latest 3D Animation & Visual Effects technology.   The center launch was felicitated by dignitaries like Honorable Mayor of Delhi - Mr. Prithvi Raj Sawhney and Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh, Director and Professor of School of Journalism and New Media Studies IGNOU. The new center will offer advanced cinematics courses such as, AD3D EDGE, AD3D NEXT besides other short term courses such as DAFM and DGDI.

Mr. Ram Warrier, Business Head, MAAC said, “India’s animation and gaming industry is currently valued at 739 million dollars with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 32 per cent between calendar years 2005 and 2009. The domestic share of animation revenue stands at 30 per cent which amounts to only 0.6 per cent of global consumption of gaming and animation according to a study of ASSOCHAM and Deloitte. Hence, at MAAC, we strive to offer students comprehensive education in the growing field of 3D Animation and VFX. We shall always try to better ourselves and provide a global window to the students.
