The Adventure Saga of 5ters – Castle of Dark Master

India’s first big fantasy Hindi feature film, 5ters – Castle of Dark Master will be released by this summer.

5ters (Fighters), a blend of live action with 2D and 3D animation directed by G Venugopal and produced by Morphosys Information Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore will be released by this summer. Distributed by Sree Sai Combines, 5ters will also be released on Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam respectively.

5ters – Castle of Dark Master is India’s first mega project with more than 85% of digital effects that was completed in a span of three years by a small team along with few freelancers and consultants who call themselves ‘Thinking Hands’.

Speaking with CG Today, G Venugopal, Film Director said, "A fertile imagination, a strong story-line and a deep understanding of the psyche of the Indian kid has led to the development of 5ters – Castle of Dark Master."

"Stunning visual locales, dazzling visual effects, path-breaking animation and focused efforts make 5ters a visual treat for all" adds Vijayalakshmi NS, the writer, Associate Director and Digital production head of the film.

Morphosys is a full fledge animation studio who have ventured for the first time into feature film production. Morphosys also has a training division in Bangalore named Morphosys Film Academy.

Of several 2D, 3D and Stereoscopic films announced three years before, very few have succeeded a theatrical release and of which most of them have bombed in box office. When Indian Entertainment and Film Industry is preparing to celebrate its 100th year, it’s sure we can not say, 'we are exploring the audience'.

Any film with good plot, crisp dialogues and visual excellence will surely bank the audience. 5Sters looks promising enough, time will show how many audience it finally manages to attract.
