ZooMumba available soon across Spil Games’ social gaming platforms, with more Bigpoint games to follow
Two of the largest players in the online social-gaming market are coming together in an agreement which will see Bigpoint’s ZooMumba appear on Spil Games’ social-gaming platforms.
Bigpoint is an enormously successful browser-based games company, which creates and publishes content for many different target groups. Starting in late July, ZooMumba, the virtual zoo that combines fun-filled gameplay with cute and exotic animals and compelling social features, will appear across Spil Games’ platforms, giving it a new audience in excess of 130 million unique monthly visitors. More of Bigpoint’s popular games are slated to follow.
“This global collaboration will bring one of Bigpoint’s best social games to the largest and most effectively targeted community of like-minded social gamers available today,” said Peter Driessen, Spil Games’ CEO. “This is a real meeting of minds – I’ve long admired Bigpoint’s innovation within the browser-based gaming world, and I’m delighted to welcome them to Spil’s expanding social-gaming platforms.”
“We’re thrilled to bring our already hugely successful game ZooMumba to Spil’s platform,” said Heiko Hubertz, CEO of Bigpoint. “Spil’s audience of like-minded gamers is unique in the industry. Plus, their global reach, localised approach and easy-to-use API will bring us scalability in efficiently rolling out our games in multiple languages, as well as leveraging Spil’s social features. We’re certain this collaboration will ensure high amounts of exposure to ZooMumba and more of our games in the future.”
Spil’s social-gaming platforms are offered in up to 19 languages, including tailored channels for girls (www.girlsgogames.co.uk), teens (www.agame.com), and families (www.games.co.uk).
