The Quintessential Interactive Trivia Game Debuts on Consoles and Windows PC - YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Marks the Return of Sarcastic Host Cookie Masterson and the Creative Team from Jellyvision Games

There are trivia games, and then there's YOU DON'T KNOW JACK, which makes its long-awaited debut on video game consoles today, and is available for the Xbox 360(R) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Playstation^(R)3 system, Wii^(TM), Nintendo DS^(TM) and Windows PC from THQ Inc. and Jellyvision Games. For the uninitiated, YOU DON'T KNOW JACK is much more than one of the best-known, best-remembered trivia games of all time: It's a classic game show, complete with commercials, bonus rounds and a smooth-talking host, Cookie Masterson.

"It's a trivia game for people who hate trivia games," says Mike Bilder, general manager of Jellyvision Games, part of the original creative team, who worked with THQ to bring YOU DON'T KNOW JACK back to its rightful place on TV screens everywhere. "Actually, this is better than an actual game show, because you're playing on your own TV, and you can screw your opponent or have a Jack Attack in the comfort of your own living room. When you don't know the answer, millions of strangers won't mock you, only your closest friends."

The original, award-winning YOU DON'T KNOW JACKwas released in 1995 - and in the meantime, dial-up Internet service, the Y2K bug and two presidents have come and gone. "There aren't many things from the 1990s that people say they actually want back, so we're happy YOU DON'T KNOW JACK is one of them," Bilder says.

"Whether you've never played before or you're a longtime fan, YOU DON'T KNOW JACK is a completely new experience for game consoles," adds Martin Good, THQ's Executive Vice President of Kids, Family & Casual Games and Global Online Services. "We worked with Jellyvision Games to rebuild YOU DON'T KNOW JACK from the ground up, but kept it completely true to everything fans love."

Also returning is Cookie Masterson, the inimitable host of YOU DON'T KNOW JACK, who Jellyvision Games coaxed from semi-retirement. "It wasn't very hard," Bilder says. "We told him we'd pay him, and he said yes very loudly and in the voice of a young girl."

Along with Cookie comes the "DisOrDat," the "Jack Attack," "Screw Your Neighbor," and other play modes and features, along with completely new questions about today's world. YOU DON'T KNOW JACK features 73 new episodes with hundreds of all-new questions. (The Nintendo DS version offers 37 episodes.) It's lightning-fast game play that requires knowledge, wits, at least a modicum of intelligence and speedy reflexes.

YOU DON'T KNOW JACK is rated T for Teen and is available at a suggested retail price of $29.99 for console versions and $19.99 for Windows PC. Four extra downloadable packs, featuring 10 episodes each, will be available this spring for Xbox 360 and PS3^(TM).
