Metaversal Studios, the developer behind the recent chart topper entertainment app Shave Me!, has submitted its newest iOS game app to the iTunes App Store to await review and approval. The new game, Bad Apples: Battle Harvest, is the sequel to the existing Metaversal match-three game Bad Apples.
Fans of the original Bad Apples game may recognize style aspects from the previous title but Bad Apples: Battle Harvest will introduce many new and improved game elements including all-new artwork, character design, original sound effects and music score, gameplay mechanics and plotline incorporation. In addition, Bad Apples: Battle Harvest is a universal iOS app with beautifully illustrated graphics and user interface designs for every iOS device, meaning players who own multiple devices can enjoy optimized gameplay and artwork on both an iPhone or iPod Touch and an iPad tablet without purchasing or installing multiple versions of the app.
Bad Apples: Battle Harvest includes a campaign-based Story Mode as well as other modes with different goals and mechanics. Newly added social networking options as well as Game Center and OpenFeint integration will allow players to post and share high scores, achievements and level completions via Facebook and Twitter. When approved for sale in the App Store, Bad Apples: Battle Harvest will sell as a universal app for all iOS devices with a $1.99 full version and a free Lite version available for download.
Metaversal Studios, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, develops casual games with a focus on mobile and online platforms. Other game titles by Metaversal Studios include Shave Me!, Bad Apples, GameRoom and T-Day: Turkeys in Time.
