Telestrations® Named 2010 Best Party Game

BoardGameGeek, a popular online board gaming resource and community, hands out the awards each year in a wide range of categories. “Telestrations simply puts a fun twist on an age-old game,” says Tony Serebriany, Creative Director of USAOPOLY. “But the outcomes are always more unpredictable, surprising, and hilarious than you’d expect. Telestrations is “the telephone game sketched out” and it’s just as easy to play. To start, each player draws a designated word in his or her sketchbook. Afterward, players pass their sketchbooks and attempt to guess what the picture is in the sketchbook that was handed to them. With their answers written down, sketchbooks are passed again, and players must draw the last guess. This sketch-pass-and-guess format continues until each player receives his or her sketchbook back. In the end, each player reveals the sequence of sketches and guesses to the group and is awarded points.
