Release of eagerly awaited Wii game just days away

Nordic Games has confirmed that We Sing Robbie Williams for Wii will release this week, with the game hitting shops on Friday 12th November.

We Sing Robbie Williams celebrates one of the nation’s greatest performers. It gives fans the chance to sing along to 26 of his chart-topping hits, including most recent single Shame along with favourites Angels, Let Me Entertain You, Feel, Rock DJ and She’s The One, each accompanied by the original videos. Unlike any other singing game on the market We Sing Robbie Williams supports up to four players singing at any one time, making it the ultimate game to get any party going.

“The Nordic Games’ team and the tireless work of its phenomenal partners are about to be deservedly rewarded,” says Nik Blower, Nordic Games Sales and Marketing Director. “With the Christmas season just around the corner and Robbie’s career scaling new heights, the timing couldn’t be better. We Sing Robbie Williams is fun, immersive, authentic, does far more than what it says on the box and is a true celebration of Robbie Williams’ career over the last 20 years.”

Rafael McDonnell – Senior Vice President for Brand Partnerships, Licensing & Synchronisation at EMI Music said: “Following the recent release of Robbie's greatest hits album ("In and out of Consciousness - Greatest Hits 1990-2010"), the We Sing Robbie Williams game provides his fans with the perfect opportunity to sing along to many of their favourite songs. This is a true celebration of hits from 20 years of Robbie, and I am sure that this will be a 'must have' product for every Robbie fan with a Wii console.”

We Sing Robbie Williams will also include footage from Robbie Williams’ 2003 Knebworth concert and a photo gallery. Other features include Solo, Party, Karaoke and Jukebox modes, singing lessons, in-game awards and eight different multiplayer modes.

Robbie Williams started his career at the tender age of 16 when he joined Take That. He left the group in 1995 to go solo. He has sold 57 million albums (including over a million copies of his last record, 'Reality Killed The Video Star' in the UK alone), 11 million singles, and has had seven UK No.1 albums making him the biggest selling solo artist in the UK. Earlier this year he picked up the Outstanding Contribution To Music BRIT Award.

We Sing Robbie Williams will be available for Wii on 12th November.
