Players Fight to Save the Legendary Continent of Velious from Annihilation in the Latest Expansion
The latest expansion for Sony Online Entertainment LLC's (SOE) iconic massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), EverQuest®II (EQII) Destiny of Velious, is now available at retailers worldwide. EQII: Destiny of Velious allows players to soar on the backs of all-new flying mounts across the desolate and previously unexplored Great Wastes of Velious, where end-game dungeons, uncatalogued beasts, and epic storylines set the stage for the latest adventure in the EverQuest II saga.
NGD Studios, an independent game developer and publisher based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, announces the launch of the greatest expansion for its MMORPG, Regnum Online.

Autodesk, Inc., a leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software, announced today it intends to acquire Scaleform Corporation, a privately held user interface (UI) tools and middleware company, for approximately $36 million in cash. Scaleforms leading technology has been licensed in the development of at least 800 games across major hardware platforms: PCs, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3 (PS3), Sony Playstation Portable (PSP), and Nintendo Wii. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and expected to close in Autodesks first quarter of fiscal 2012 (which ends on April 30, 2011).
